Attention motorists and pedestrians, as part of the Coburg Road Infrastructure Upgrades Project, paving work will be taking place near the intersection of Coburg Road and Oxford Street Monday, June 17th and Tuesday, June 18th.
Work is scheduled to take place from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. There will be stop and go traffic in the work zone. Coburg Road and Oxford Street remain open. Traffic lights in the intersection will be shutdown.
Experienced traffic control will be on-site to direct traffic through the work zone. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
