Traffic Advisory – Hammonds Plains Road
From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Monday, April 22, crews will be performing stormwater system maintenance near 1858 Hammonds Plains Road, Hammonds Plains. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
There will be stop-and-go traffic in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.

Traffic Advisory – Joseph Howe Drive
Starting at 7:00 AM on Sunday, April 21, Halifax Water crews will be on-site replacing a hydrant near 3371 Joseph Howe Drive, Halifax. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
There will be a lane reduction in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks will be closed.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
Traffic Advisory – King Fisher Way
Starting Monday, February 12, Dexter Construction, on behalf of Halifax Water, will be performing wastewater infrastructure upgrades near King Fisher Way, Lower Sackville. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area. This work will continue until May 14.
King Fisher Way near the intersection of Metropolitan Avenue will have brief periods of traffic disruption throughout the duration of the project. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows.
Motorists are reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
