From 6:00 PM to midnight on Thursday, September 17, Halifax Water crews will be completing water system maintenance near the intersection of Bedford Highway and Cliff Street. Water service will be temporarily shut down in this area. Impacted water service customers were notified in advance of this work.
There will be an altered centre line, and lanes will be narrowed on the Bedford Highway near the intersection of Bedford Highway and Cliff Street. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks in the work zone will be closed.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
