Halifax Water crews are on-site performing an emergency wastewater repair near the intersection of the Beaver Bank Connector and Old Sackville Road. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
There will be an inbound lane drop on the Beaver Bank Connector in the work zone. There will be stop-and-go traffic on Downsview Avenue between Paige Place and Touchstone Court. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
