From 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 17, Halifax Water will install a hydrant near the intersection of Beech Street and Chebucto Road, Halifax. Impacted water service customers have been notified of this work in advance.
Beech Street will be open to local traffic only between Oak Street and Chebucto Road. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks within the work zone will be open.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
