From midnight today to 2:00 PM tomorrow, Saturday, June 14, Halifax Water crews will be performing Wastewater and Stormwater System Maintenance at the following locations Downtown Halifax. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
- Buddy Daye Street at Gottingen Street
- Hollis Street at Bishop Street
- Hollis Street at Salter Street
- 1200 Barrington Street
There will be stop-and-go traffic in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
