Starting tomorrow, May 1, and continuing until approximately the middle of June 2025, Halifax Water will be upgrading the wastewater collection system near Yorks Lane, Eastern Passage.
On weekdays from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there will be local traffic only on Normans Lane in the work zone. See the map for further details.
This work will ultimately improve the system’s resilience during rain events and minimize possible disruption at the current Yorks Lane Pump Station.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
