Halifax Water will be undertaking scheduled wastewater system maintenance tomorrow (Tuesday, September 15th) on Spencer Avenue in Spryfield.
This work will take place near 207 Spencer Avenue from 8:30 A – 5:00 PM. There will be local traffic only access on Spencer Avenue via Schnare Street or Lewis Street only. Spencer Avenue will be closed at civic#207 with no through traffic access. Pedestrian access will be maintained. See the attached work zone map.
There will be no loss of water, wastewater or stormwater services.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
For the safety of work crews and residents, please maintain social/physical distancing requirements of at least 2 metres/6 feet.
