Halifax Water crews have isolated the water main break. Customers in Downtown Halifax should see water pressure/water service return to normal shortly.

Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Due to an unplanned water main break by a third party, there is water loss and low pressure in Downtown Halifax. Crews are on-site undertaking emergency repairs. Customers in this area may experience low water pressure or a temporary loss of water service. No estimate of service restoration time.

This repair work is taking place within an existing work area. Please follow any existing safety signage.
