From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Wednesday, June 17, Dexter Construction behalf of Halifax Water, will undertake reinstatement work on Alderney Drive.
The outbound lane on Alderney Drive between King Street and Portland Street will be closed. All traffic will be diverted to the inbound land with stop-and-go traffic. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks will remain open.
This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
