From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Thursday, August 13th Dexter Construction behalf of Halifax Water, will undertake reinstatement work on Alderney Drive.
The inbound lanes on Alderney Drive between King Street and Prince Albert Road will be closed, traffic will be diverted to the outbound lane, where there will be stop-and-go traffic. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows.
This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
