From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Thursday, August 20 and Friday, August 21, Dexter Construction behalf of Halifax Water, will undertake reinstatement work on Alderney Drive.
The following traffic control will be in place:
Thursday, August 20
- Outbound lanes on Alderney Drive between Portland Street and King Street will be closed, traffic will be diverted to the inbound lane, where there will be stop-and-go traffic.
Friday, August 21
- Inbound lanes on Alderney Drive between Portland Street and King Street will be closed, traffic will be diverted to the outbound lane, where there will be stop-and-go traffic.
- Dundas Street will be open to local traffic only between Alderney Drive and Portland Street.
This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
