Halifax Water crews will be undertaking an emergency water main repair near 1356 Bedford Highway, Bedford. From 10:00 PM this evening to 6:00 AM on Friday, March 13, water service will be shut down in this area.
There will be stop-and-go traffic in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows.
To ensure you have water during this period, please fill food-safe containers with tap water before 10:00 PM, so you have sufficient water for flushing toilets, drinking, cooking, etc.

Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
