From 10:30 PM on Saturday, March 7, to 8:00 AM on Sunday, March 8, Halifax Water crews will be performing wastewater system maintenance on the Bedford Highway between Holland Avenue and Spring Street, Bedford. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
There will be an altered center line and stop-and-go traffic within the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
