From 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Thursday, April 30, Halifax Water crews will be undertaking a sewer lateral repair near 76 Chappell Street, Dartmouth.
Chappell Street will be open to local traffic only in the work zone. Detours will be in place. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalk within the work zone will be closed.
This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
