From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Tuesday, November 30, Halifax Water crews will be on-site working to replace a water valve near the intersection of Coburg Road and Lilac Street, Halifax. Water service will be temporarily shut down in the following areas:
- On Coburg Road between Walnut Street and Lilac Street
- On Lilac Street between Payzant Street and Coburg Road
Lilac Street will be open to local traffic only during this work. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks near this work will be closed.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
