As part of planned water and wastewater (sewer) system upgrades on Oxford Street and Coburg Road, Dexter Construction, on behalf of Halifax Water will require a two day closure of the trail between Connrose Avenue and Coburg Road Monday, September 9th. The closure is required to complete final reinstatement work.
The trail will be closed to pedestrians and cyclists from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but will reopen in the evening hours (see attached work zone map).
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow around the work zone. On-site personnel will maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption.
