From midnight tonight, until 6:00 AM tomorrow, Wednesday, Halifax Water crews will be on-site performing an emergency stormwater system repair near 22 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
There will be an inbound lane closure in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. The sidewalk will be closed on Herring Cove Road from Forrest Avenue to Armshore Drive within the work zone.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
