From 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Thursday, October 2, Halifax Water crews will perform a stormwater system repair near the intersection of Hollis Street and Prince Street, Halifax. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
The following traffic impacts will be in place:
- Left lane closure on Hollis Street near the intersection with Prince Street
- Right bicycle lane closure on Hollis Street near the intersection with Prince Street
- Centre lane on Hollis Street will remain open
- Halifax Transit Bus Stop #8822 will be closed
- Sidewalks will not be impacted.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
