Beginning on Monday, December 15th and continuing until Saturday, December 20th, WSP on behalf of Halifax Water will be performing geotechnical investigation work at the following locations along Kempt Road.
There will be stop-and-go traffic on the following streets daily between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM during the duration of the project:
- Kempt Road between civic 3377 and Young Street
- Stairs Street between Kempt Road and Robie Street
- Livingston Street between Kempt Road and Robie Street
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks will remain open.
This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
