Beginning at 6:00 PM today, Halifax Water crews will perform emergency wastewater system maintenance near the intersection of Lower Water Street and Prince Street, Halifax.
Lower Water Street will be closed between Sackville Street and Prince Street. Detours will be in place. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks will be open.
This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
