On Wednesday, July 8, Halifax Water crews will be undertaking a sewer lateral repair near 27 Mayfair Avenue, Lower Sackville.
Mayfair Avenue will be open to local traffic only between Cockburn Drive and Raymond Drive. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks in the work zone will be closed.
This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
