Halifax Water will bring its Sampson Reservoir back into service beginning tomorrow, August 6. For the past number of weeks this reservoir has been offline for cleaning and inspection
As this reservoir is brought back online, some customers in the Lower Sackville, Fall River, Beaver Bank, Waverley and surrounding areas could potentially experience a stronger smell or taste of chlorine. This is a result of the disinfection process of the reservoir in order ensure safe drinking water for our customers. See map for the impacted area.
