From noon on Sunday, October 17 to 8:00 AM on Monday, October 18, Halifax Water crews will be on-site working to repair a water main valve near the intersection of Bedford Highway and Holland Avenue. Impacted water customers have been notified directly by Halifax Water staff.
There will be stop-and-go traffic in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
