Halifax Water crews have investigated a water main leak on Dunbrack Street and are now working through the process of a permanent fix that will be completed over the next several days.
While a solution is being planned, water will be present on the road.
Traffic cones are now in place in the left turning lane on Walter Havill Drive; this will shorten the lane and ensure vehicles avoid the gravel area with water leaking from it. Sidewalks remain open.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
