From 6:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6, to 7:00 AM on Sunday, January 11, WSP on behalf of Halifax Water will be performing geotechnical investigation work at the following locations along Kempt Road and Robie Street, Halifax.
There will be daily stop-and-go traffic on the following streets between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM for the duration of this work:
- Kempt Road between Livingston Street and Young Street
- Demone Street between Robie Street and Agricola Street
- Russell Street between Robie Street and Agricola Street
- Macara Street between Robie Street and Agricola Street
- Bilby Street between Robie Street and Agricola Street
There will be a lane reduction on Robie Street, between Young Street and Almon Street, from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM for the duration of this work.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks will remain open.
This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
