Please note the following traffic impacts will be extended past 7:00 AM on October 3, 2025.
- Outbound traffic on Sackville Street between Dresden Row and South Park Street will be open to local traffic only.
- The left turning lane on Bell Road at the intersection with Sackville Street will be open to inbound traffic.
Until approximately 7:00 AM on Friday, October 3, Halifax Water crews will be undertaking an emergency sinkhole repair near 5566 Sackville Street, Halifax. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
There will be lane reductions in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
