From Monday, June 8, to Wednesday, June 10, GFL Environmental, on behalf of Halifax Water, will complete wastewater and stormwater system maintenance on Windmill Road, Dartmouth. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
The following traffic impacts will be in place nightly between 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM.
- There will be a lane reduction at the intersection of Windmill Road and Wright Avenue. Sidewalks within the work zone will be closed.
- There will be a lane reduction at the intersection of Windmill Road and Dawn Drive. Sidewalks will remain open.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
