On Thursday, September 3rd from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Halifax Water crews will perform manhole repairs near the intersection of Wedgewood Avenue and Kearney Lake Road, Halifax. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Wedgewood Avenue will be open to local traffic only between Kearney Lake Road and Wilson Boulevard. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks will remain open.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
