From 7:00 AM to approximately 9:00 PM, on Thursday, July 2, Atlantic Road Construction & Paving, on behalf of Halifax Water, will undertake an emergency wastewater manhole repair on Windmill Road, Dartmouth. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
There will be a lane reduction at the intersection of Windmill Road and Grove Street. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks and crosswalks in the work area will be closed. Street parking within the work zone will not be available for the duration of this work.
Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. To learn more about discoloured water and to report it, please visit www.halifaxwater.ca/discoloured-water.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
