Beginning at midnight this evening until 7:00AM tomorrow, Halifax Water crews will be on-site performing manhole repairs at the intersection of Duke Street and Granville Street, Halifax. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
The following traffic impacts will be in place for the duration of these repairs.
- There will be a lane reduction on Duke Street between Barrington Street and Hollis Street. Two-way traffic will be maintained, and sidewalks will remain open.
- There will be a left lane reduction on Granville Street at the intersection with Duke Street. Sidewalks remain open.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
